What to expect
Natalie LeitãoDr Natalie Leitão is the Academic Principal at Sheridan Institute of Higher Education. With extensive experience from the Early Years through to the tertiary level, Natalie has been closely engaged with the broader education community throughout her career. She has published several articles, presented at education conferences, and delivered professional learning in public and independent schools. She has served on school parent committees and undertaken various children's ministry roles at her church. Natalie was a Director of Swan Christian Education Association 2013–2016 and is currently Chair of Carmel Adventist College School Council. She has been married to Rico for just over 30 years and they are parents to their daughter Jessica, son-in-law Andrew, and son Jay. Natalie is passionate about sharing the gospel and nurturing authentic relationships.
Ivan MillsIvan Mills is the Director of Christ For All Children (CFAC) – a non-denominational, non-profit, missionary organisation, which serves the Body of Christ. Ivan has been a full-time Children’s Minister since 1984. His passion is to reach the lost. Having ministered to children and trained workers in many nations, he knows that the harvest is truly ripe. Until 1995, most of CFAC’s effort was spent ministering directly to children, especially in Western Australia. While this is still happening, the emphasis has changed to that of training Children’s Ministers and most of the work is outside of Australia. Ivan has ministered to children and trained leaders in many nations throughout the world.
Passing the Baton is generously supported by the following organisations, each of whom is working hard to raise the profile of children’s ministry. We thank them and our exhibitors for their help and contributions. For more information, see our sponsors page.
