Passing the Baton is a  full day event to help equip & encourage children’s workers
as they pass the baton of the faith on to the next generation.
The day includes – Keynote speaker, 10 electives and large Expo of kids ministry resources.
Enjoy networking & meeting people who are also committed to children’s ministry.

Keynote speaker: Rob Furlong … you’ll be inspired and encouraged!

  Rob Furlong has served in pastoral ministry for over 33 years,
including 20 years as Senior Pastor of Thornlie Church of Christ,
before transitioning to a role as Pastoral Consultant with Baptist Churches WA.
In 2017 Rob returned to local church ministry as Senior Pastor of
Woodvale Baptist Church and is enjoying building into the life of a local congregation.
He has a desire to be a part of assisting the next generation of leaders
to emerge in the local church in Western Australia.
Rob is married to Karen and together they have four adult children
and 13 grandchildren!
He is the chaplain to the Western Warriors Cricket Team, supports the Fremantle Dockers,
enjoys reading, bike riding with Karen and is a budding master chef.

      * Registrations will close Thursday 8th Feb (midday).
      * No registrations or payment will be accepted on the day of the conference.

Two ways to register:

1. You can register and pay online (secure site) by credit card (click ‘registering info’ or ‘register online’ tab above) 


2. Register and pay (cheque or credit card) by post. Download colour brochure (select ‘downloads’ tab above)
or ‘contact us’ and we’ll gladly forward you a brochure in the mail.

Registration costs:

* Early bird registration (pay by 29th January 2018) – $40 pp (incl. $5 earlybird discount)
.                                                      OR
* Last minute registration (30th January 2018 onwards) – $45 pp

            Concession (under 21 or pensioners) – $5 discount on relevant above registration.
.             (No Group discounts available this year)

* Lunch $12 (optional) – Subway, sandwiches, fruit, cake, drinks 

Sorry – special needs lunches are not available – you are welcome to bring your own.

TOTAL PRICE = registration fee less concession plus lunch

e.g. 1 – for an early bird delegate under 21yo with lunch ($40 – $5 + $12) = $47
e.g. 2 – last minute adult (non-concession) delegate with lunch ($45 + $12) = $57

* Morning Tea included in registration fee for everyone

* Child Care – Sorry but child care facilities are not available on the day. (The conference is
primarily designed for people who are involved in leading children’s ministries)

* Cancellations incur a $5 administration fee

* PTB elective presentations are not recorded.
